Tragic Discovery: Baby Ava’s Remains Found in Salford Field
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have identified the remains of a newborn girl found in a field, naming her “Ava” after previously referring to her as “Baby A”. The infant’s body was discovered by a dog walker on 20 November near Ashtons Field in the Little Hulton area of Salford.
The circumstances surrounding Ava’s death remain mysterious, with police conducting extensive investigations to understand what happened. In a touching gesture of community support, the flowers, teddy bears, and tributes left at the scene in memory of the baby will be cleaned and donated to children’s charities.
