As the Oscars prepare to honor the best in film, the Golden Raspberry Awards, or Razzies, have announced their nominations for the year’s worst movies. Leading the pack is Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables franchise, with its fourth installment garnering seven nominations. Stallone himself is up for worst supporting actor, while co-star Megan Fox is nominated for worst supporting actress.

Other films receiving multiple nominations include The Exorcist: Believer and Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, each with five. The latter, a dark reinterpretation of AA Milne’s beloved characters, has been nominated for worst picture, screenplay, and rip-off, among others.

Russell Crowe is also in the running for worst actor for his role in The Pope’s Exorcist, another exorcism-themed film. The Razzies, often referred to as the Oscars’ “ugly cousin,” will announce their winners a day before the Oscars in March.

The Golden Raspberry Foundation’s over 1,000 members, based both in the US and overseas, vote on nine categories including worst director, screenplay, and prequel/remake/rip-off/sequel. The Expendables 4 has been nominated in all these categories.

Other notable nominations include Harrison Ford’s final outing as Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny for worst sequel and Vin Diesel for worst actor in the 10th Fast and Furious film. Shazam! Fury of the Gods has four nominations, including one for Dame Helen Mirren for worst actress.

Past Razzie recipients include Leonardo DiCaprio, Eddie Redmayne, Ben Affleck, Halle Berry, and Sandra Bullock. This year sees double nominations for Megan Fox, Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, and Salma Hayek. Fox is the only actor nominated for two different films – Johnny & Clyde and The Expendables 4. Stallone, however, holds the record with his 16th nomination for worst actor.
