Shark researcher Phil Sternes believes this could be a newborn shark based on its rounded fins and the white layer on its body, which could be evidence of a mucus-like substance found on newborn sharks. However, other marine biologists caution that there could be alternative explanations for the white layer and more evidence is needed to confirm the finding.
