Monkey on the Loose Captured After Five Days of Escape

A monkey that had been lost in the Highlands for over five days has finally been recaptured. The Japanese macaque had escaped from the Highland Wildlife Park located at Kincraig, close to Aviemore, on Sunday. Over the past few days, drones equipped with thermal imaging technology were deployed in the search for the missing primate. The seven-year-old male was found and captured on Thursday morning in the vicinity of the park. Currently, it is undergoing a health examination by the park’s keepers.
