A fifth individual has been charged in connection with the murders of two teenage boys in Bristol, according to Avon and Somerset Police. A 14-year-old boy was charged on Monday afternoon for the murders of Mason Rist, 15, and Max Dixon, 16, and was subsequently remanded into custody. The victims were attacked in Knowle West on the evening of January 27.

So far, the police investigation has led to five people being charged with murder, including a 17-year-old boy over the weekend. Additionally, two individuals were charged last week with two counts of assisting an offender and were also remanded.

On Monday, a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and is currently under interrogation. He is the 13th person to be arrested in relation to this case.

A 49-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl who were arrested on Sunday morning on similar suspicions have both been released on conditional bail. The families of the deceased boys have been informed about the developments and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
