SpaceX’s Legal Headquarters Relocated from Delaware, Confirms Musk

Elon Musk has announced that he has relocated the legal home of his rocket company SpaceX from Delaware to Texas. This move follows his recent announcement that shareholders of electric carmaker Tesla will vote on a similar relocation. Musk’s brain-chip implant firm, Neuralink, has also moved its legal home to Nevada. The decision to move SpaceX’s incorporation state was made after a judge in Delaware invalidated Musk’s $55.8 billion pay package from Tesla. Musk has recommended that other companies also consider moving away from Delaware, which is known for its light taxation and is home to many major US corporations. The relocation of SpaceX’s legal home comes after Tesla moved its corporate headquarters from California to Texas earlier this year.
